What is Cold Pressed Oil?

Cold pressing is the method of oil extraction from oil seeds which may include sesame seed, sunflower seeds, canola, coconut or olive without really using heat to extract as that may degrade the oil’s flavour and nutritional quality.

What is Refined Oil?

Refined oils, on the other hand, are extractions from oil seeds that cannot be pressed naturally for oil – the most common variety of such oil seeds are soybeans, sunflower, canola seed, etc. The only way to extract oil from such seeds is by chemical treatment and extensive refining with the application of heat.
